The Faculty of Professional Finance & Accountancy has three undergraduate majors: Financial Management, Accounting and Finance. Its main professional construction feature is to cultivate “international”, “application-oriented” and “industry-oriented” business and financial talents, adhering to the spirit of “cultivating virtue to establish oneself and seeking excellence to benefit the world”, and setting the mission of “serving the national strategy of building Shanghai into an international financial center and cultivating financial and accounting talents with international vision”.

At present, the college has formed a professional setting pattern of interdisciplinary economics and management. There are three professional divisions: the Division of Financial Management, the Division of Accounting, and the Division of Finance, as well as the Research Center of Finance and the Research Base of the Financial Center. In 2020, the “New Finance Smart Learning Workshop” project passed the first-batch evaluation of the National Center for Schooling Development Programme of the Ministry of Education. The majors of finance and accounting are included in the First-Class Discipline Construction Program in Shanghai. Finance is identified by Shanghai Business School as a Project Plateau discipline during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.

Our faculty features a strong team of members, with a combination of academic background with professional experience at international level in different areas of expertise. Currently, we are composed of 52 full-time faculty members, including 4 professors, 16 associate professors, 39 with doctoral degrees, and 11 administrative teaching assistants. We also employ more than 20 part-time teachers from enterprises, other universities and overseas. Our faculty members have undertaken various research projects such as the young scholar project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Humanities and Social Science General Program sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Decision-making and Consulting Project of the Shanghai Municipal Government, and the Shanghai Philosophy and Social Science Project, and have published more than 100 papers in distinguished magazines and newspapers in China and overseas, and more than 60 papers in SSCI and CSSCI journals in the past five years. They have engaged in more than 40 public and government-sponsored research funds as well as commercial research funds at national, provincial, ministerial and university levels, published 8 books and compiled over 10 textbooks; nearly 30 decision-making and consulting reports have been approved or adopted by provincial and ministerial leaders, including one approved by the Standing Committee of Political Bureau of CPC. Our teachers have won the third prize in the first national university teachers’ teaching innovation competition, the first prize in the first Shanghai university teachers’ teaching innovation competition (sub-senior professional group of local universities), the Teaching Activity Innovation Award, the Teaching Academic Innovation Award and the Outstanding Fundamental Teaching Organization Award. The research results of the pilot reform of “replacing business tax with value-added tax” led by Professor Dong Huiliang were selected into 40 landmark pioneering cases in the reform and opening up process in Shanghai.

8188www威尼斯设有财务管理、会计学和金融学3个本科专业，以培养“国际化”、“应用型”和“行业性”商科类财经人才为学院主要专业建设特色，秉承“修文德以立身、求卓越以济世”院训精神，并确立了以“服务上海国际金融中心建设国家战略，培养具有国际化视野的金融与财务人才”为学院使命。

目前学院形成了经管交叉的专业设置格局，现有财务管理系、会计系、金融系三个专业系，以及财务金融研究所和金融中心研究基地。2020年“新金融智慧学习工场”项目通过第一批教育部学校规划建设发展中心的评定。金融学与会计学专业被列入上海市一流本科建设专业点；金融学被学校确定为“十四五”期间重点建设的高原学科。

  学院师资力量较雄厚，形成了“中西结合、内外兼修”的师资队伍。学院现有专业教职工52名，其中教授4名、副教授16名；拥有博士学位39人，行政教辅教师11人。学院还聘任来自企业、其他高校及海外的兼职教师20余名。学院教师先后承担了国家自然科学基金青年项目、教育部人文社会科学研究项目、上海市政府决策咨询项目、上海哲学社会科学项目等各类项目，并在国内外优秀杂志、报刊公开发表论文百余篇，近五年在SSCI及CSSCI期刊上发表论文超过60篇论文；承担各类国家级、省部级、校级等纵向横向课题40多项，著作8部，主编教材10余部；近30个决策咨询专报获得省部级领导批示或采纳，其中1篇中央政治局常委批示。教师获得首届全国高校教师教学创新大赛三等奖、首届上海市高校教师教学创新大赛（地方高校副高组）一等奖、教学活动创新奖、教学学术创新奖和优秀基层教学组织奖。由董惠良教授牵头负责的“营改增”试点改革研究成果入选上海改革开放40项标志性首创案例。
